Caribbean Sun splash

Caribbean Sun Splash Festival will be held at Festival Center Curacao, Kaminda George Willems. About a 40 minute drive from HATO airport. Upon arrival, please follow the signs towards the festival entrance for your section (provided on your ticket). In case of a traffic diversion please follow instructions provided by security.

On Friday 2 June 2023 Caribbean Sun Splash starts from 6pm until midnight (12am) and on Saturday 3 June 2023 from 1pm to midnight (12am).

The festival is open to people from 18 years and up. If you are between 15-17 years old, you can only enter with adult supervision.

The festival security can ask for your identification to check your age. Please bring a valid ID. Accepted ID’s are passports, driver’s license or sedula.

A single-day ticket grants you access to the venue on either Friday OR Saturday. A single-day ticket is valid for only ONE day.

A weekend ticket grants you access to the venue on both Friday and Saturday. A weekend ticket cannot be split up into 2 single-day tickets. This means that the person using it on Friday should be the same as the one using it on Saturday. The ticket will be scanned on both days, and only valid in combination with a wristband. Wristband will only be issued once. Broken or lost wristbands cannot be replaced so please look after them. Entrance on the Saturday can be denied without wristband.

Lost and Found services will be available at the venue during the festival. After the festival you can sent an email to info@sunsplashevents.nl

There will be Sun Splash merchandise available at the official merchandise stand.

No food or drinks will be allowed into the festival site. Our food trucks will serve all kinds of delicious food options. Think burgers, sandwiches , Jamaican BBQ, local soups, and batido’s, smoothies, ice cream, fruit, cocktails and more. Dietary restrictions? No worries, we will also have several options.

You are allowed to bring a handbag as long as it’s not bigger than the size of an A4 paper ( +- 30x20 cm). Bigger bags such as backpacks, sports, duffel or weekend bags are not allowed.

During the Festival, there will be security and first aid staff present. For any emergency, locate a member of staff who will be able to assist or locate the correct assistance.

All requests for media, sponsoring and/or press as well as any other professional photographer/videographer for our events, can me made per email (media@sunsplashevents.nl) up to two (2) weeks prior to our events. Requests made after that date will not be processed. Please include the following information in the request: Event: Name: Company: Position: Purpose: (Web)sites: Promotion: Experience/C.V.: Emailaddress: Phone number: Will you make Will there be editorial promotion for Sun Splash Events/our event in the weeks leading up to our event? Yes / No Only applications with all the aforementioned information will be considered. Upon approval of the application, you will receive an email confirmation with further information. An awarded media/press card can be changed up to one (1) week prior to our event. No correspondence on accreditations will be entered into after this date.

Our camera policy is that as long as your equipment is not professional audiovisual, you can make photos and videos with a digital camera. All requests for making professional video/ audio footage see media/press.

· When entering the festival, you give permission to be photographed by our photographers. You are not allowed to bring your own professional equipment, cameras (with interchangeable lenses) without an approved press pass are not permitted. · Ins and outs are not allowed. There is no re-entry onto the festival site · You are not allowed to bring food and drinks into the festival site. · You are not allowed to sell merchandise or items without our approval. · Flyers, promotion or any type of advertisement is not allowed during the festival without our approval. · There is a zero-tolerance policy for soft and hard drugs. Meaning no drugs are allowed and entrance to the festival may be denied. There is a zero-tolerance policy for violence. Meaning in case of a violent incident, you will be escorted of the premises immediately.
